Custom concrete staining is the process of staining a concrete floor with with a decorative pattern, design, or colors. This can make an old, run down concrete floor into a beautiful work of art. Being an artist my whole life I enjoy doing custom stain work much more that traditional concrete staining. I help my clients with their vision for their concrete surface by working with you every step of the designing and application process. Our proprietary Method
Our unique method of concrete staining is exclusive to our company and ensures that our work will last much longer compared to other companies methods.
The concrete staining process starts with either honing and or thoroughly cleaning the concrete slab. The substrate is then sealed with a deep penetrating sealer. This sealer permanently waterproofs the concrete making it impervious to moisture and mineral salts that can damage the concrete. The concrete is then stained with color matched water based stain. Test swatches are mixed and applied before the service, until the perfect colors are decided on. You can view our concrete stain color chart here.
After the stain has cured, a topical sealer is applied to protect the stain from wear and tear. To be specific, a urethane indoor / outdoor sealer is used in either a gloss or matte finish. This sealer is chemical, scratch, and UV resistant.
Therefore the concrete is easy to maintain and clean while lasting for years to come.
