I recently decided to stain and seal the concrete around my pool. At the same time, I decided to resurface my concrete countertops. I had resurfaced my backyard patio to refurbish it but my DIY project didn’t turn out as expected. I hired Nick to polish down the rough spots & it turned out great! This was back-breaking work with him on his knees grinding down the high spots before using his floor polisher. My patio surface was exactly as I wanted it. I found Nick while researching which product to use to refinish my concrete kitchen countertop. I made the top myself 15 years ago and had struggled ever since to find a finish that would stay put. Nick suggested products that he was not even selling, which impressed me very much. As the conversation continued I was convinced to have Nick do the work…quite a give for a dedicated DIY’er. I am so happy I made that decision. There is a lot to know about prepping and applying finish to concrete, especially when there are multiple old finishes to deal with. Nick quoted a very reasonable price, showed up when he said he would, and did an incredible job! The work was professional, clean, and spectacular. I am an old general contractor with lots of skills but some projects just have a long learning curve and concrete finishing is one of those.
