Concrete Resurfacing on 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Home
This beautiful three bedroom, two bath home in Golden Oaks California had stained concrete floors throughout. The owner had stained the concrete floors himself when the house was built but unfortunately they became dilapidated over the years. Sweet Concrete was hired to refinish the floors throughout the home. First the concrete was stripped of the previous stain and sealer using a shot blast machine. The areas were then honed using an orbital floor machine equipped with diamond embedded metal pads. The floors were then permanently sealed with Creto DPS to help prevent topcoat delamination. A two color, water based concrete stain was then applied to the concrete in an organic pattern. This patterning gave the floors an “acid stain” look. The concrete was then sealed with an epoxy base coat, and a two coat urethane topcoat. This gave the floors a nice glossy look throughout the home. The resurfacing process increased the value of the home and made the sale of the property much easier for the owners.
